We arrived in Israel on time with all of our luggage. After talking to many people here we decided not to attempt to ride in Israel.  We asked many people and all said the roads were not safe and drivers were terrible.  We have decided to hike instead.  Picked up rental car and drove to Eilat in southern Israel.  Then into Jordan and Petra.  Overwhelming place.  Enormous.  More than 2 miles long and on both sides of the valley with incredible buildings hewn ito the santstone.  It is impossibe to describe the intricacy of this enormous place.  Pictures do not do it justice.
